Dearing got his start in high level management as the Corporate Risk Management and Safety Leader for Publix Super Market. As the Corporate Risk Management and Safety Leader for nearly nine years, Ron Dearing of Coconut Creek spearheaded the development of a coporate safety system to better protect all elements of the supply chain. Dearing’s leadership was relied on by corporate senior executivies and the company preidents. The safety culture crafted by Dearing helped Publix Super Markets enjoy succes during his tenure.
In 2002, Ron Dearing of Coconut Creek switched gears to the non-profit sector. As an Area Executive for the National Safety Council, Ron Dearing was once again able to establish a Workplace Solutions Division that led to a winning growth strategy for the organization by improving the logistics of the operation. After more than seven years in this role, Dearing couldn’t pass on the opportunity to become a key member of the Walt Disney organization.
After just a year as a manager, Ron Dearing was promoted to a Group Lead of Worldwide Program Development and Technology. This role put Dearing in charge of the systems and technology strategy of the Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Worldwide Safety Organization. His strategies and leadership allowed Disney to start to sell Disney’s safety information and strategies to other companies. Ron Dearing of Coconut Creek was then promoted once again by the Disney Organization to the Group Lead of Worldwide Systems and PMO. This role saw Dearing orchestrate corporate cultural change and enhance the risk management and safety technology investment strategy of the organization. Dearing also served on several Boards of Directors during this time.
Currently, Ron works as the Enterprise/System Director at Health First in Rockledge. In this role, he oversees the project management office, operational excellence functions and operations integration. Dearing’s ability to understand systems, processes, people and technology is a rare talent.
